Originally built as a Family run 18 hole golf club with just 9 bedrooms. Over the past twenty years it has grown to be one of the leading 3 star golf hotels in the area. Now there are 90 well appointed bedrooms, all with en suite bath or shower, direct dial telephone, radio alarm clock, television and tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms have double or twin beds some can take 4 adults comfortably and a separate flat that can take up to 6. Guests can take advantage of our excellent leisure and golf facilities including indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room and a professional gym. Some rooms have wonderful views over the two 18-hole golf courses set in 350 acres of the beautiful Norfolk countryside. If these are unavailable the views can also be enjoyed on the Terrace or in the Valley Restaurant.
There is extensive free car parking at the hotel; the A47 that connects with the A11 to London is a short drive away. If you’re arriving by air there is a Helipad onsite, Hot Air Balloons take off from our Driving Range and Norwich Airport is just up the road. A train from nearby Norwich Station to London can cost as little as £6 each way and the local bus service runs every 20minutes into the centre of Norwich. If you’re feeling energetic you can walk or cycle along Marriott’s Way a disused railway line that runs into the centre of Norwich.
