Exercise Classes at Wensum Valley Hotel

Come and join in the fun at Wensum Valley with our great Exercise Classes and Expert Instructors. All our classes are free to members and non-members can participate for only £4 a session!

Abs Attack 

Suitable for all levels. A class designed to both tone and strengthen your abdominal and core area. Also includes stretching to help relax and increase mobility. Participants 6 -20

Saturdays 10.30 - 11.15am

 

Aqua Aerobics 

A non impact exercises suitable for all levels based in our swimming pool, which provides a great workout with as much resistance as you’ll need in the water. (Our pool is 1.35 metres deep) Participants 8-27

Tuesdays & Thursdays 10.30 - 11.30am, Thursdays 7.00 - 8.00pm

 

Bum, Legs & Tum 

Suitable for all ages, this class aims to attack those hard to hit areas around the legs, bum and stomach. Consisting mostly of floor routines it is good for both the complete beginner and the more advanced allowing you to push yourselves as hard as you wish. Participants 6 -25

Monday & Wednesdays 6.30 - 7.30pm, Fridays 10.00 - 11.00am

 

Circuit Training

A combination of all our classes rolled into one with some whole body exercises, core and abdominal stations thrown into what we call a circuit class. 1 hour class for all levels as this class will let you work as hard as you wish! Participants 6 -20

Mondays 7.45 - 8.45pm, Fridays 6.30 - 7.30pm

 

Junior Gym

Designed for 12-15 year olds, this class allows youngsters to learn how to keep fit safely and sensibly under professional supervision. The class concentrates on aerobic and core work. Pre-booking is essential and the cost is just £5 a session.

 
Thursdays 4.00 - 5.00pm, Saturday 1.00 - 2.00pm

 

Popmobility

A dance class suitable for begginners to advances and combining aerobics with modern dance routines performed alongside upbeat songs with the added bonus of abdominal exercises thrown in. This class is sure to get your heart pumping. Participants 6 -16

Tuesdays 7.00 - 8.00pm

 

Street Dancing

Do your children have extra energy? Do they enjoy dancing? Then this is the class for them! Street Dancing and a introduction to Tap is a great way to keep your children active. Please bring loose comfortable clothing and trainers (or similar dancing clothes)

Thursdays 4.00 - 4.40pm (6-10 yrs) 4.40 - 5.30pm (11-16 yrs)

 

Studio Cycling 

Using the latest spin bikes this class will give you a great workout which will improve your fitness as well as burning lots of calories. This class is like bringing your outdoor cycle indoors, but to music which makes it fun for all! Due to high demand and restricted numbers, passes can be collected 30 mins before class, on a first come first served basis. NEW! 14 bikes now available! Participants 4 -14

Tuesdays 12.30 -1.15pm, Tuesdays & Thursdays 6.00 - 6.45pm

 

Please make sure you bring a towel with you and something to keep you adequately hydrated throughout the class (drinks available from reception). We do provide aerobics mats free of charge but you are more than welcome to bring your own along.

 

Why not join us in the hotel bar after your class we offer a great range of food and drinks. We also hold a number of events at the hotel throughout the year.
